Yves 4th EP [NAIL]

This 4th EP is a work that reveals and records the 'state of the body' rather than the 'inner self' through 'senses'.

Here, 'sensation' does not refer to a mere feeling, but rather to the moment when what best suits a person is maximized—a state that is convincing without explanation. Some sensations can be shared by everyone simultaneously, while others can be felt by only one person. Furthermore, some sensations possess a strange persuasive power, even if their tastes are the exact opposite of mine.

Factors that distinguish individuals, such as differences in nationality, race, gender, and language, no longer serve as boundaries in the face of 'taste + sense.' Even without words or explanations, a single sense enables mutual understanding and unites us as one. Looking at this very point, this EP records the 'moments' of connection rather than defining senses.

Therefore, this 4th EP is a process of expressing Yves’ unique ‘sensibility’ and recording himself, where the sound flows seamlessly rather than having a single point clearly defined.

Yves 4th EP [NAIL]

이번 4th EP는 '내면'이 아닌 '몸의 상태'를 '감각'으로 드러내고 기록하는 작업이다.

여기서의 '감각'이란 단순한 느낌이 아닌 그 사람과 가장 어울리는 것이 극대화되는 순간, 설명하지 않아도 납득되는 상태를 의미한다. 어떤 감각은 모두가 동시에 공유할 수 있지만, 어떤 감각은 오직 한 사람만이 느낄 수 있다. 더 나아가 어떤 감각은 나와 정반대의 취향임에도 이상하게 설득력을 가진다.

국가, 인종, 성별, 언어의 차이처럼 개인을 구분하는 요소들은 '취향+감각' 앞에서 더 이상 경계가 되지 않는다. 말이 통하지 않아도, 설명이 없어도, 하나의 감각은 서로를 이해하게 만들고 하나로 만든다. 이번 EP는 바로 그 지점을 바라보며 감각을 정의하는 대신 하나로 연결되는 '순간'을 기록한다.

그렇기에 이번 4th EP는 사운드에서도 하나의 포인트가 선명하게 규정되기 보다 흐르듯 이어지는, Yves만의 '감각'을 표현하고 스스로를 기록하는 과정이다.
