[The Star], the second studio album that simultaneously explores the light and darkness contained within the word 'star,' which refers to both a celestial body in the universe and a shining person.
It musically expresses the gap felt between Royal 44, who possesses the self of a 'star' in the spotlight, and the dark side of a 'star' that burns itself out and emits light when not in the public eye.
Centered around the keyword 'Star,' the album blends popular pop tracks featuring sounds, themes, and lyrics befitting a star with genre-specific tracks that, in stark contrast, explore the inner struggles and anxieties.
Starting with the interlude track "Again ? (Interlude)", which depicts the wavering self of the 'star' that was barely maintained, the album is divided into easy-listening tracks that actively embrace subgenres such as electro-pop, dancehall, tropical house, and drum and bass in the first half, and heavy tracks containing styles such as pain, folk, and alternative R&B in the second half, expressing the dual nature and life of the 'star' that the album aims to portray.

우주의 천체이자, 빛나는 사람을 뜻하는 '스타'라는 단어가 품은 명과 암을 동시에 탐미한 두 번째 정규 앨범 [The Star].
사람들에게 각광받는 '스타'로서의 자아를 가진 Royal 44와, 동시에 대중들에게 비치지 않을 땐 스스로를 불태우며 빛을 뿜고 있는 '별'로서의 어두운 면 사이에서 느껴지는 간극을 음악적으로 표현했다.
'스타'라는 키워드를 중심으로, 스타에 걸맞는 사운드와 주제, 노랫말을 담은 대중적인 팝 트랙들과 더불어 정반대로 내면적으로 찾아온 고민과 불안감의 지점을 탐구하는 장르적인 트랙들이 한데 어우러져 있다.
